Exercise Mats from Airex are defined by their durable versatility. This Airex Xtrema 180 Exercise Mat is the most robust mat in the Airex family. It's built for long-term training and a must-have for floor exercises, yoga, Pilates, stretching, and strength training. Made of high-density foam, the Xtrema can be used on just about any surface including stony ground, gravel beds and the beach. Comfortable and non-slip, it features an "integrally molded skin" for extra toughness. Extremely lightweight at approximately 4 lbs., users move and relocate the Xtrema time and again with ease. The Xtrema's users find the soft and cushioned support ideal for floor and mat-based workouts. Perfect for functional training as well as traditional floor exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, squats and lunges. Slightly less than 6' long, the Xtrema 180 is sized at 70" x 23" and is .2" thick. Tear resistant and highly stiff, the transverse ribbing pattern is molded into the mat to resist rips and holes yet gives the mat enough flexibility to be "rolled-up" for carrying and storage. The incredible durability of the Xtrema makes this an ideal mat to be used outdoors in any weather, therapeutic facilities, gyms, studios, spas, at home and even in the office. This is why Airex is found in Olympic training camps, performance centers, fitness studios and clubs all over the globe. Latex-free, the Xtrema 180 comes in Black. Because it floats, this mat is ideal for adding challenges to water therapy and other water-based exercises. The Xtrema 180 features integrated sanitized hygiene protection so odors are eliminated and there's built-in protection against bacteria, mold and pathogenic organisms. Rinsing with fresh, soapy water is all that's needed. Shake off the excess water and allow to air dry. Damp mats shouldn't be stored in lockers or confined spaces. These mats are ideal for individual workouts at home, yet tough enough for multi-use environments such as fitness centers and therapy clinics. Safe in unexpected ways, as the ends will remain flat and not curl over time, preventing tripping.
