Description

If the destination is pain relief, dry needling with these Click Dry Needles from Agupunt is how to get there. Dry needling, sometimes referred to as intramuscular stimulation, is a technique used to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction of skeletal muscle and connective tissue. It is safe, minimally discomforting and an effective technique for patients with certain musculoskeletal conditions. Simply put, in dry needling, a thin monofilament needle penetrates the skin and treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. With the Click method patented by Agupunt, the needle is attached to the guide tube by the Click mechanism. The guide tube, which has no chemical components, offers better accuracy, allows the physiotherapist to work with one hand and provides for safer and easier handling. Agupunt needles are known for being top quality painless needles that facilitate the work of professionals and provide greater patient benefits. Dry needling is effective because practitioners place the needles in "trigger points" in muscle or tissue areas of knotted or hard muscle. They are designed to stimulate trigger points, or muscles that are irritable, providing relief for some muscular pain, easing the trigger points to improve stiffness and flexibility and increase range of motion. That's why this method is often performed by physical and sports injury therapists who say the needle helps release knots and relieve any muscle pain or spasms. This is a box of 100 Click Dry Needles sized at 0.30 x 50mm. In dry needling, a practitioner inserts several short, stainless steel needles that don't inject fluid into the body. That's why the term "dry" is used. The guide tube is recyclable and environmentally friendly. Dry needling is not the same as acupuncture. It uses similar tools, but dry needling is performed by different practitioners with different training. Acupuncture is based on Eastern medicine, while dry needling is rooted in Western medicine and evaluation of pain patterns and movement impairments. It's common that some users may experience side effects around the injection site. These might include bruising, bleeding and temporary soreness. Agupunt needles are FDA and Health Canada approved.
