Exercise Mats from Airex are defined by their durable versatility. This Double-Sided Airex Calyana Prime Exercise Mat is also defined by its comfort and grippability. Designed in conjunction with famed yoga teacher Buket Akkus, the Calyana is built for everyday use and long-term sturdiness and is a must-have for yoga, Pilates, rehab, stretching, floor exercises and strength training. Comfortable and with a knobbed underside that makes slipping almost impossible, it is made from closed-cell foam with an "integrally molded skin" for extra toughness. Lightweight at less than 4 lbs., users move and relocate the Calyana time and again with ease. The Calyana is so comfortable, users find the soft and cushioned support ideal for floor and mat-based workouts. Perfect for traditional floor exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, squats and lunges and ideal for functional training of any kind. Just over 6' long, the Calyana is generously sized at 73" x 26". Incredibly comfortable and soft at .2" thick, the mat offers a slight cushioning effect that helps protect joints, knees and tendons, as well as relieve strain on the spine. It's ideal for all therapy applications, exercises and training. Extra-soft and tear resistant, the transverse ribbing pattern is molded into the mat to resist rips and holes and to give the mat enough flexibility to be "rolled-up" for carrying and storage. The incredible durability of the Calyana makes this an ideal mat to be used in yoga classes and studios, gyms, spas, wellness facilities and even outdoors. That's why it's common to find Airex in Olympic training camps, performance centers, fitness studios and clubs all over the globe. Latex-free, this mat is dual-sided with Lime Green on one side and Nut Brown the color on the other. Because it floats, this mat is ideal for adding challenges to water therapy and other water-based exercises. The Calyana also features integrated sanitized hygiene protection so odors are eliminated and the growth of fungus, bacteria and mildew is inhibited. Rinsing with fresh, soapy water is all that's needed. Shake off the excess water and allow to air dry. Damp mats shouldn't be stored in lockers or confined spaces. Hands and feet won't be sliding around as the Calyana is 100% anti-slip. Safe in unexpected ways, as the ends will remain flat and not curl over time, preventing tripping.
