VACOped Achilles Injury/Fracture Orthosis Boot is the number one choice of patients and physicians alike for treating Achilles related injuries. Both comfortable and effective, this Controlled Ankle Motion (CAM) boot is a great option for Achilles ruptures and fractures, ankle joint replacement, calcaneus fractures, complex ligament injuries, as well as arthrodesis of the upper and lower ankle joint. The soft, 100% cotton terrycloth liner is absorbent and breathable. It features an adjustable, articulating ankle feature for dynamic settings such as plantar flexion and controlled Range of Motion (ROM) thus allowing and enabling an active recovery. The adjustable angle setting, and ROM unlock advanced treatment protocols. These conservative Achilles protocols include SMART, Exeter, and Leister. The VACOcast family of orthoses have a patented vacuum-relief insert. This allows you to create a "custom-molded" fit that is specific to your anatomy and is markedly more comfortable and stable than any other orthopedic boot on the market. Both the sole and liners are removable and washable for an easier time when cleaning. The small fits Men's shoe sizes 3.5 through 7.5 and Women's shoe sizes 4.5 through 8.5. Please note, if you are in between sizes, it is generally recommended that you choose the smaller size.
